Cliff Hawk: CEO & Founder Cliff Hawk founded VoyageTrek Travel. Prior to VoyageTrek Travel, Cliff worked in senior product management and business development positions for the Microsoft Corporation. In early 2001 Cliff was hired by Microsoft to lead strategic planning on the new MSN Search Featured Sites program, which quickly grew to become MSN’s largest advertising product and later became the cornerstone for the Microsoft adCenter program. From mid 2002 to the fall of 2006, Cliff created and managed business partnerships with various Interactive and traditional media companies that enabled the MSN and Windows Live business models and powered multiple new and existing web properties such as MSN Video, MSN Real Estate, MSN Lifestyle, and Windows Live Search. He managed media partnerships with companies such as Disney, Viacom, News Corp, Bertelsmann, Hearst, Meredith Corp, Scripps Networks, AmEx Publications, McGraw-Hill, Scholastic, iVillage, Discovery, Expedia, and HomeStore.com. Richard Bangs: Strategic Advisor Richard Bangs has oft been called the father of modern adventure travel and the pioneer in travel that makes a difference, travel with a purpose. He has spent 30 years as an explorer and communicator, and along the way led first descents of 35 rivers around the globe, including the Yangtze in China and the Zambezi in Southern Africa.
Cory Van Arsdale: Strategic Advisor Cory has been a technology and new media executive and legal counselor since 1985. He is currently VP, Strategic Business Development, at Intellectual Ventures. He is also co-principal at Van Arsdale Yeager LLC and an advisor to multiple start-ups and a consultant in the areas of online media, gaming, and mobile applications. Cory was at the Microsoft Corporation from 1994 to 2008. Cory was most recently the CEO of Microsoft's Massive Incorporated subsidiary and General Manager for Emerging Media in the Advertising & Publisher Solutions group, where he led a team of over 150 employees devoted to next generation media solutions. From 2000 to 2007, he was in charge of business development and partnerships for MSN and Windows Live, beginning with a small team supporting MSN in the U.S. and growing into an 80+ person team supporting all of global Online Services. He spent six years in Microsoft's Law Department as a senior corporate attorney, where he supported IP and transactions for Windows 9x, Internet Explorer, and the Digital Media Division. His most fun deal: licensing 'Start Me Up' from the Rolling Stones for the Windows 95 launch. Prior to Microsoft, Cory was an executive and legal counsel in Silicon Valley at Sun Microsystems, Apple, and the start-up, Be, Inc.
